HOW MANY ATTEMPTS DO YOU GET?

You have limited chances—so preparation matters.

✔ You get up to 3 attempts to pass the CNA exam
✔ You have up to 2 years to pass both parts
✔ If you fail 3 times → you must complete a 120 hour state-approved training program

Good news:

  • You only retake the part you fail (not the whole exam)

That’s why a CNA review class dramatically increases your chances of passing the first time.
